based on information provided about this product I ordered it. after giving this battery a full charge I put it in my bag & went out shooting.

when my primary battery was depleted & installed this one. after only 20-30 shots the battery went dead. it's true, you get what you pay for. I

highly recomend paying a litle more for a name brand battery with clearly stated performance expectations.

I don't believe this battery has nearly the capacity as the original but it's worth having for unexpected shortage of power situations and the price is right.

It charged up fine in my OEM charger and the car adapter is fine if noticeably cheaply made.

I read many reviews before buying this one. Some said great things about it. Others just hated the camera.

After using it for about 1 month, I can say this: READ THE GODDAMN MANUAL. LOL.

This camera is GREAT, takes awesome pictures. It's not a point and shoot. If you want to get good pictures with it, read the manual and learn some basic photography techniques first. It takes good pictures in auto, but not something you could be proud of.

Manual mode is when you can get your money's worth. The camera is great. Some say it's not good because it doesn't record 1080p video. But this is not a factor for me. If you want to record video, get a video camera. This is meant to take pictures, not recording video. :)

I actually bought this camera for my wife with her needs in mind. She had a point and shoot Fuji that she loved that was giving her troubles. She loves to blog [...]. See her blog for some examples of pictures taken with the camera, shameless plug, I know. I went round and round about buying her a DSLR. The simple fact is, a DSLR is not what she needed or wanted. She didn't want to have to change lenses or fiddle with the settings or such. She wanted a simple camera that would simply take great pictures and would not be limited by a puny zoom. This camera fit the bill perfectly for her. Yes, the display could stand to be a higher resolution, but other than that, she has been extremely happy with it. All around, the P-90 has proven to be a great solution for a person needing a camera to take pictures instead of requiring extended time reading manuals. A definate thumbs up!

Well, The product is good but not great. Some issues I observed with the product are as follows:

1. Picture Quality is not that great for a 12MP camera especially the Night mode and indoor shooting.

2. Blink Detection is not good. When you are clicking a Building and there are no Humans to see, still the camera reports "Did Someone Blink ?"

This Camera is awesome. Sorry Henrique finds it wanting. I bought one of these for my wife, some months ago. Superb colors and sharpness. Super easy to use. Took a burst of 11 frames of a whale breaching in front of our house in Uruguay, every shot crystal clear and with real colors. I personally use Nikon D-300 and DX1 and 2, with many interchangeable lenses, but for simplicity, I highly recommend this camera for beginners to advanced users. You will be happy. If you buy this camera, may I suggest the Nikon Coolpix P90 24x Optical Zoom Digital Camera + 8GB Memory Card + EN-EL5 Battery + Cameta Bonus Accessory Kit by Nikon, which is a great deal, and will give you a large amount of storage, enough for an entire vacation, along with the aftermarket Lithium Ion Battery.
